YOUR SESSION

My aim is to make your AREXPRESSIONS Experience as fun and relaxed as possible. I want to hear your story, why you want your photo taken, and what you hope to have as your final images. Together, we will create a visual tale that is unique to you.

Consultation

We will begin the process with a Consultation, either in person, by phone or video chat. This ensures everyone is seeing eye-to-eye on the details, requirements, and for some creative brainstorming. We will discuss details such as location, wardrobe ideas, hair and makeup options, themes,  pricing and products. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to put your date on the calendar. 

The Shoot

On or before your shoot date, a $150 Session Fee will be due.  A portrait model and safety release will need to be signed at this time so that all is clear in writing and for the personal protection of all participants. Your session fee covers a 60 minute shooting experience and 1 - 3 outfit changes depending on time and the flow of the shoot. If you like, tell me a few of your favorite artists you'd like to hear as your shoot soundtrack and I'll create a playlist beforehand! 

Your Selections

Be on the lookout for an email from which you will view and choose from all of your most beautiful lightly retouched images and finalize your print order!

Things To Consider

When choosing your wardrobe, please try to avoid anything with visible logos. Within our hour of shooting, 2-3 outfit changes is ideal time-wise and will also offer a great variety of style and character to your imagery. I am here to assist you as well. Highly encouraged as well is to treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure before your session. 

OUTDOOR SHOOTING HOURS: I currently offer my services on the weekends and weeknights between 6pm-9pm are possible as well (when sunlight allows). For lighting purposes, if we are to be shooting outdoors, I suggest meeting 30 minutes before sunrise and 90 minutes before sunset, overcast days allowing for more flexibility during the afternoon. Please keep in mind that late arrivals will effect the length of your session and the quality of any shots taken after ideal lighting time has passed. 

INDOOR SHOOTING HOURS: For indoor locations, the nature of the shoot may be a deciding factor in scheduling times and locations, natural window light hours being best between 9am - 8pm. After 8pm, artificial lighting will be used to create different styles and looks. In the case of indoor locations of your choosing, if possible, please provide me with photos taken during the time of day you'd like to shoot, so I have an idea of the lighting situation and atmosphere. If choosing a space for rent, via AirBnB.com or Peerspace.com, please send me links to any you may fancy and I shall do the same!

PAYMENTS for your DEPOSIT and SESSION FEE can be made via Zelle, Venmo, cash or check.

No rescheduling fee will be necessary if you let me know at least 7 days prior to our shoot date.  If within 7 days of our shoot, a $50 rescheduling fee will be due immediately.

Additional travel charges may be incurred for long-distance locations. Houston is HUGE! Also, we must consider high-traffic times when scheduling.
